EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION

Training

In addition to the workshop and seminar, Hydro Lab is providing customized trainings to national and international professionals. Several groups from Bhutan, Tanzania and Nepal were trained on flow measurement, sediment sampling and laboratory analyses at Hydro Lab on numerous occasions.

Hydro Lab has also assisted with the establishment of the Sediment Laboratory and training on laboratory analyses for the Department of Energy and Chhukha Hydropower Plant in Bhutan, Nathpa Jhakri Hydropower Plant in India, and Liberia Electricity Corporation in Liberia.
