In addition to our routine activities at Hydro Lab, we have undertaken a variety of specialized projects including;

• Technical Audit of disaster prevention project for Kulekhani Hydropower Plant.
• Settling basin performance test for Khimti I Hydropower Plant.
• Discharge measurements by using Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), Current Meter and Conductivity Meter for various projects.
• Discharge measurements at the penstock pipe of various hydropower plants by using a clamp-on type (non-intrusive) Ultrasonic Flowmeter.
• Measurement of velocity profiles at the reservoir of Middle Marsyangdi Hydropower Station, the  settling basin of Kali Gandaki ‘A’ HEP, the Karnali River and many more.
• Suspended sediment sampling & laboratory analyses and velocity measurement to evaluate the trapping efficiency of Desander Basins of Upper Trishuli 3A HEP for China Gezhouba Group Company Limited.
• Review of Upper Trishuli-1 Project Desander Basin Model Test for Power Construction Corporation of China Ltd.
• Study on Sediment Management in Run-of-River Hydropower Projects of Nepal awarded by Water and Energy Commission Secretariat, Government of Nepal.
• Spring and Water Source Assessment in Selected Local Governments Across Watersheds of Karnali River Basin for DAI USAID Karnali Water Activity Programme (KAWAS) in association with ISET, Nepal.
• Hydrological, Hydraulic, Sediment and GIS study related to Stock Measurement and Projection of Harvesting Riverbed Material from the River Systems of Chure-Terai Region of Province-1.
