Dr. Meg B. Bishwakarma

Dr. Bishwakarma is a hydropower professional with more than 32 years of experience in planning, design, construction supervision, contract management/administration, and environmental mitigation and monitoring of hydropower projects. Over the last 17 years, his work has focused on hydraulic design, physical hydraulic modelling, sediment measurement research, and the development of cost-effective sediment handling solutions. He also served for five years as a part-time lecturer at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Dr. Bishwakarma earned a PhD (Dr. Ing.) in Hydraulic/Hydropower Engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2008 and an MSc in Hydropower Development from the same university in 1998.
